With the Free Hugs video, I think the intended audience are those who need hugs. The man was standing out there, knowing that there are people who may be stressed out, and just want a hug. That's what he was offering. Plus, I think the message conveys the same as Jesus, wanting to do the same for everyone. There are many out there who are more than just stressed, and Jesus wants to offer more than just hugs. I think it is a great message of the gospel, because the song that was playing had the line "and I'll take you for who you are" and Jesus is doing the same. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. he is there, waiting for you to answer it. And for the other video, Story with no words, I'm assuming it was the one with the guy at the Oregon coast, because I saw another video with a kid at a tree, with the same video title. But with the man, again, represents all who are stressed or overloaded. I think this type of people is the audience. Simply stressed, he goes off in his head to think of nature and beauty to calm himself down. I think the message this portrays is that God is willing to give rest, and He is evident, because of His creation. As far as long term, I think the response is that of complete satisfaction; knowing that God is present everywhere, and His creation can be a means of His communication to tell us that He is here.

Wow. First off the Hugs video. I am guessing it has seen so many veiws becuase it shows love. People want true kindness and love, its how were built, its what we are made to seek, which will only be satisfied by Christ. This video shows a glimpse of that love, at least that is what I saw.
Second, the Story video. I REALLY liked this video. It is so true! I love how Jesus was there the whole time, he never left not once. Not only was he there but he was screaming for her, he wanted her back the whole time. I love that so much about Jesus. I also liked how it showed how fast we can be led astray. The enemy is smart and can lure us away so quickly if we dont have our gaurd up. My favorite part of the video was probably the how in the end Jesus fought to protect her. When she attempted at coming back He was right there and fought for her, and in the end brought her back into his arms. Wow. Jesus is so cool and amazing. I love him so much.
Sorry about the No anonymous messages. It should be working OK now.

Ok, so I watched the actual video. The intended audiences are everybody, going through struggles, facing hard times. This includes Christians too. From what I saw on the video, the girl had a great relationship with Jesus, but she got caught up int he world, but when at the end of her rope, she tried to run back. But it depicted how the world, how Satan, will do everything to keep us from Jesus. But Jesus offered Himself, to be the burden, and defeated sin. That is the message; that is the gospel. Jesus defeating sin, becoming sin for us, and giving us redemption, calling us forgiven. I loved this video so much. At first I thought the Lifehouse song was overused too much, because I hear it a lot. But this was just the perfect song!
Meg: (ok i know this is kinda long...)
I think one of the coolest things about these video's is the fact that neither one started off with the intent to get on the web and become 'a hit'. The audience for the hugs was just anybody who needed a hug in a Sydney mall, not intending to start a mass following on the internet, just doing what one person could do. The human video appears as though it was intended for a conference or possibly a church service of some sort, what I thought was really good was the fact that those in the audience, both Christian and not could learn and grow from the message presented. The hug movie showed just how much of a difference one person can make with a little effort to share love. the human video showed what nearly all of us go through, the falling in love with Jesus, and being romanced by Him, and then getting caught up in the things of the world, starting with seemingly innocent things and getting to the point of desperation, and the fact that all along Jesus is there, waiting in agony for us to return to Him. I think they both could be useful presentations, although the hugs video did nothing to present that true and everlasting love can come from Christ, it could be tweaked in a way to present that, while the second video was a direct presentation to anyone who watches it of Christ’s' love for us. I think they both are effective in the way that the first one shows that a little effort can go far, and that everyone is desperate for love, even if it's just a hug from someone they have never met, and the second one shows that it is never to far to turn back to Christ’s' waiting arms. I think both of the videos could have long term responses if they the right people see them. The first video has already had some spin-offs and seems to have impacted the way some people think. and the second video is definitely good imagery to what Christ is doing, I know it was a good reminder to me, and while I am no where near the desperation displayed it was still an amazing picture of seeing Jesus desperate for my love and attention, longing to be with me.
I watch video and it was remark. An awesome way to dilver Gods message with out words. The intend audience was anyone who need to know that there is some who love them and accepts them for who they are. He was offering hugs to express his love Jesus to the people he encounter. He really deliver the message of Christ and it was through action rather than words.
