Being a Light and Blessing to the Nations
Which individuals in the Old Testament were a light to the other nations? Be sure to include their names, their calling and the people that they reached out to.

First, Abraham was a light because God had called him out of his own land. And even when he had much land, he didn't want to quarrel with his nephew Lot so he blessed him and let him choose which land he wanted. Joseph, even after he was sold by his brothers, used his dreams which called him by and blessed the King of Egypt. And after being accused, and imprisoned, he still used his dreams and later on, after being appointed highly, blessed his brothers. Daniel, being in Exile, used his gift which was given by God, saying that only interpretations come from God, interpreted King Neb's dream. He reached out to Israel later when after he was thrown in the Lion's den for no good reason, King Darius said that Daniel's God is the one to be worshiped and praised.

Jonah even though he was hestaten he very much was a light to other nations. He become blessing to them. He was call to go to Nieveah and preach about repentence for the people of Nieveah who was the worst of the worst. Jonah disobey God at first because he knew he be a light to this people and he want to see them parish, but God had other plans. He bless Nieveah by saving them from destruction.

There are quite a few people in the OT who were a light to the nations.
Abraham- His calling was to leave his land, and his father's household to the land God would tell him, he reached many people, those he encounter on his journey, esp Lot.
Jonah- was called by God to reach the people of Ninevah, and after resisting the call, he did follow God and reach the people of Ninevah.
Daniel- he reached the people of Babylon, the kings and the common people.
